Pencil Holder

I love to write, and I usually like to put my thoughts down on paper. I store my pencils in a homemade pencil container. To make one, you need:

• A sheet or two of Decorative Paper
• A clean, empty can (size of your choice)
• Duck Tape
• Scotch Tape (double sided is good)
• Embellishments

Take your can. If your lid is not off, remove it with a can opener. Take your duck tape and tear off a piece the size of the exterior of the can. Wrap it around the outside lip of the can and fold it over, so the sharp part on the top of the can is hidden. You should now have a can with a piece of duck tape wrapped around the edge.

Next, take your sheet of decorative paper. Measure the height and circumference of your can, and cut  the paper to that size. Leave a little excess paper. You can make it shorter later, but not longer. Once your paper is cut, wrap it tightly around the can, and use the tape to tape it to its self. 

Now the fun really begins...decorations! Use whatever you have to make the can look to your taste. Happy crafting! :)  

How to Make A Thanksgiving Cornucopia

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! In my family, every year on our table, we have a mini cornucopia! It's very easy to make, and can really doll up a table. To make this you need:

• Mini cornucopia. (Find on at most craft stores)
• Apples
• Grapes
• Nuts
• Cranberries
• Dried Leaves

First, lay the empty mini cornucopia on the table where you want it to be. Scatter your dried leaves around the cornucopia. Decorate the cornucopia with you materials you collected. You now have a Thanksgiving cornucopia!

Wooden Bead Bracelets.

Recently, I found some large wooden beads in my closet. This is a very good way to make basic bead bracelets. To make these bracelets you will need:

• Wooden beads, colored or plain.
• Elastic string
• One smallish bead

First, take your elastic string and thread your small bead on, and tie a knot to secure the bead. Next, take your large wooden beads and thread them on as well. Take the elastic thread and slip your thread inside of the smaller bead. Tie a knot around the small bead and cut of the excess thread. You now have a simple wooden bracelet! The end product will look something like this.
